I am referred to you by Canuck
Colors: black/white/yellow
I would like a logo of a cartoonish black hawk wearing a Boston Bruin jersey. The jersey is predominantly yellow with white trim. Maybe a take off from the Bruin third jersey (cartoonish form) of the bear image in the chest.
The hawk is holding a hockey stick, wearing skates, gloves, and a helmet. The helmet is white with the bear logo on the side. The helmet could be the old style with the ear flaps bent back. The hawk is making a slap shot, standing on one leg. Might be best if the skates were white, or combination of black and grey.
As per Canuck could we go with the lettering at the bottom of the image to reflect the hawk skating with speed. The hawk is skating from left to right.
I have been so impressed with your work. Thanks

Rather than a helmet, could we consider the black hawk wearing an indian headress. The feathers could be red/black/yellow/blue/orange, as per Chicago. The hawk would still be wearing the yellow jersey with the bear on the chest. Maybe the bear could have a growling face.
Thanks much.

I like the start. I really appreciate your efforts.
The image I have is a cartoonish hawk wearing the bruin third jersey. Could we give this character skinny bird legs in skates. Could the arms maybe become wings that ultimately wrap around the stick. (kinda of the atlanta thrasher thing). Maybe the arms of the jersey stop, mid forearm, to expose the wings. I consider that the current is to human form with a bird head. I want to emphasize the hawk image with the bear uniform. I like the way the stick and puck are positioned like the image is moving toward you. Could we give the head some character. Maybe use black/grey feathers, the feathers are in disarray and the bird has an open beak like it is screaming. Could the head be positioned so that it is looking forward rather than to the side. Thank you for your efforts. I hope I am not being difficult.

I knew this one wasn't easy. The Hawk is skating from left to right and making a slap shot. The hawk is wearing a Boston Bruin 'third jersey' with the Bear. The Hawk is skating at a 45 degree angle toward you. You can see the 'Bear' image in the yellow/white/black jersey. The Hawk is wearing a native headress complete with feathers of yellow/blue/red/orange.
I can't sort out the wings/arms. I visualize a cartoonish character with skinny legs and skinny arms with hockey gloves. I also visualize the arms to form wings that wrap around the hockey stick.
I hope this helps.

My thanks to all that have worked on this.
My preferences are:(1) 'doctoring' of image in reply #6 (2) 'doctoring' of image in icehawks in reply 7/8
Can I suggest the following doctoring in image 6.
I like the image of the hawk. Could we put a tight fitting jersey, (yellow/black) with Bear image on the chest, so the muscular development still shows. I like the positioning of the arms. Let's put a stick in the left hand. The hawk will be brown in color. No head gear so the hawk image is clearly portrayed. I like the feathers at the back of the pants. Give the hawk tight fitting hockey pants. (Pants are black) Leave the legs as are. Maybe try the image with tight socks over the legs and/or without. See what you think looks best. Give him skates and hockey gloves, black in color. This is a cartoonish character so I will leave with you as to whether the arms of the jersey extend to the glove or are above the glove to show the development of the arms.
Thanks for your efforts. I really like the start.

black pants didn't look as good... blended in too much... the bear logo I can put on but the stick will cover much of it....... let me know your thoughts

Hello Game Time:
Could we move the stick so that the left hand is holding the end of the stick. That would lower the blade of the stick below the left leg and expose the chest. The blade of the stick might partially cove the right and left skate. Could we implement the yellow color, striping, bear image as in reply #2. The pants still look like football pants in that they cover the knee. Could the pants be squared off above the knee and the knees become yellow as if wearing hockey socks. Could we implement the brighter yellow/white/black panels into the gloves as well?
I like how this is coming along. Thanks so much for your efforts.

Back again: If you don't like the image with the stick extended downward and to the left could we maybe rotate the left glove to an upright position and with the stick being held in a vertical position with the blade above the head. An option in the event that you don't like the look of the other suggestion. Thanks again.

Hello gametime: I love the image. Question: Could we make the hawk colors a combination of black and grey? It would make the features of the hawk stand out from the jersey and the bear, on the chest, would be more prevalent.
Question: If we change the color of the hawk does it make the tail feather blend into the hockey pants to much? If so, how does the image look without the tailfeathers. I considered that the tailfeathers were important to the image but wonder what you think.
Question: Could we include the team name 'bearhawks' in the logo? Your thoughts?
I really like where we are at.
