Born in Castro Valley, California Near ( S.F. Family Big Niners fans, my second team from childhood )
Live in Burlington, Washington ( about an hour & half north of Seattle )
Die-Hard Seattle Seahawks fan, talk about breaking my heart when they moved us into the NFC West we have to play the 49ers twice. I grew up not having issues loving both city's & both teams they only played each other in Pre-Season & then it was fun because no body got hurt no matter who won. Now it hurts to watch them play each other.
But......... Go Hawks......... Sorry Dad.

Born in Michigan, raised in Michigan, don't really care for it but will probably never leave Michigan. Die hard (don't laugh) Lions fan, which is exactly why I NEED fantasy football. I went to the Michigan embarrassment on Saturday, so unfortunately college football is over for the 2007 season. Love all sports and live in a great state for it.
GT, if you said your a teacher, you're probably familiar with my occupation at School Specialty?

Come on now MJR, our season is not over. No, we will not be playing for a national championship but until I see them lose to a Big Ten opponent the season is not over.

I hear ya, but does a Big Ten championship really mean anything. We're supposed to be a premier football program and with the exception of last year, we can't make it out of September without a loss. It's frustrating, that's all.
Any chance you were at the game Saturday?

I don't want to be mean but, You know if thats the case then you really believed Lou Holtz the other night on College Gameday when he actually said "This game was not an Upset."
Hey I can't say much we had coaches paying players in the late 90's that cost us four years of Bowl eligibility at the UW We used to play with the big boys in a powerhouse league with USC.
Now we just pray the hometown kid ( Jake Locker ) that turned down USC can get us into any Bowl or maybe just maybe bring back that swagger we once had when we used to play you guys in the Rose Bowl every year.
Unfortunatly we get Boise State & Ohio State Back to back & Michigan already lost. I love my teams but hey just like being a lions fan now or a Seahawks fan 15 years ago, we know when it's over before it began. Michigan is done & outside of Sonny SixKiller or Mark Brunell walking back through that door & performing miracles at the UW again we are about to be.

I did not get the opportunity to go to the game Saturday but I believe I will be in East Lansing on November 3rd, where we should be able to shut up all the trashing talkers in the area. We are supposed to be a premier team, but lately we have not been. The weaknesses in one of our best defenses in the last 20 years was exposed last season, so I was not surprised at all that App State came out firing and exploiting them. I don't know why but Carr can just not get those guys motivated early in the season. Like you said, we seem to have tremendous difficulty getting out of September.
And no, I try my hardest to ignore that moron Holtz. That was one of, if not, the biggest upsets in CFB history. Our boys were not prepared and while I want to back Carr, it is becoming increasingly difficult. Two poorly executed 2-pt conversions (Minor would have been tackled in the backfield even if he hadn't slipped) and two blocked field goals are unacceptable.
Still, the Big Ten Championship is always the first goal, then you see if you're in the hunt for the national championship. We aren't already this year, so now hopefully the guys can focus wholeheartedly on the Big Ten. That said, I don't think Lloyd is here next year... and I'm not terribly upset by that. It's about time to move on.

Hey let's all look at it this way if some how the miracle of miracles happens & the Huskies upset Ohio State in two weeks then you guys will really have a shot & the last game of the year will mean as much as it did last year.
Hopefully with a better out come. I just took a look at the scheduale & it's not that hard other than Penn St. & Ohio St. but hey you guys get them in The Big House everybody else is beatable. I will be personally rooting for you next week I hate Oregon.
So say it with me everybody from Michigan I know it's hard....
Go Huskies...

A couple points. That two point conversion was rediculous. First off, they just ran wild like 5 times to the left side (Jake Long side) of the line. Not to mention, it was with Hart. Now for the two, they decide to run Minor to the right side, when they really should have went for one anyway. Doesn't make sense.
As far as Lloyd, he says "we weren't prepared". Are you kidding me? Who doesn't get prepare for the FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON. That's rediculous.
As you've said Willypohill, maybe we can salvage the season with a big 10 championship. I hate to be a sell out, but I don't see it happening.

Near Raliegh , North Carolina here ,but hate the Panthers....now that they have come to the state I'm forced to get NFL Sunday Ticket to see my Skins, which by the way is just as close of a drive as the NC Team at the other end (west) of this long state.
